February Stuff.

Ahhhhh… the craziness. The wonderful, blissful, absolutely mad craziness. Sigh.

February has been hectic, but what else is new? I’ve been down to see
my family twice in the past 2 weeks, once to visit the new babies and
the other to celebrate my dads 62nd birthday, I’ve finally finished my
business plan, and I have a potentially new job working as a cake
decorator in a specialty cake shop part time. Its a strange set up, but
what I would be doing is decorating cakes for their company, as a
contractor from my company… Its not quite what Greg and I had in
mind, but we love the opportunity because it gives me a little more
time before I open the cake shop "location"… although I’m technically
"open" as of March 1st since I’ve already pre-booked orders.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I still need some time to work out the details. :D.

Greg and I start ballroom dancing lessons tomorrow night! I’ve always
wanted to do this, and a few weeks ago we had Sunday dinner with a
couple from our church and they said that they take lessons at the
Christian Academy. That got our attention and next thing we knew, we
were enrolling in the beginners class which starts tomorrow. I love
having things to do in the evening, so with my cake classes on
Wednesdays and dancing on Thursdays, I feel pretty good.

This weekend, we’re going away with Gregs parents to Frankenmuth, and
next weekend we have the Gimore children coming to visit. I think the
plan will be swimming, walks, skating and baking. We have Skylagh and
Faith that weekend as well, so Eli and Anne will get to know their
cousins better too :).

I cant believe theirs only 6 weeks left of winter… at the most!
Spring will be very welcome in my life this year, I dont know what it
was, but this winter didnt excite me the way it usually does. Maybe
that means I’m getting older :).
