I Love Sleep.

Last Sunday Greg came over after church and we went to the Niagara Symphony. The music was beautiful; all those violins, the darkness of the theater, the comfy smell of fabric covered seats, perfume and old people…  Afterwards we went to my favorite thai restaurant, sat on cushions on the floor and ate lots of yummy thai food by candle-light. Needless to say, by the time 9pm rolled around that night I was pretty sleepy, so by 10pm I was in bed and sound asleep.
 
This led to me having the most unusual experience on Monday morning.  The alarm went off at 5am and I WOKE UP! Not only did I wake up, but I actually got up. By 8am I had been at the office for 2 hours and gotten a ton of work done.
 
I liked the feeling so much, that I went to bed around 10pm again on Monday night, and have aimed for that target every night this week. The end result is that I’ve now had almost 8 hours of extra sleep this week and its only Thursday. Thats like having a whole extra night of sleep this week!
 
Those of you reading this with small children, I apologize for rubbing it in your face 😛
