The Weekly Re-cap.

Here we are, another weekend and I’m barely feelin’ it.  Its all good though, I’ve had a great week 🙂
This week I left Canada once again and travelled to Chicago.  My experience this time was MUCH better – the hotel was great, the restaurants were better, we knew where we were going this time and found a great shortcut, and we didnt get hit with a freakish snow storm.  As a result, we were able to meet with our client and God blessed us again with another account.
Another thing that happened this week was that God brought me a new sales partner – its amazing how things work out, and I was really starting to feel swamped at work.  The best part is that the new sales person is a friend of mine and a Christian.
The other amazing thing was that we had our first knitting party this week!  Mom really loved it, so I think we should do it more often.  Melissa couldnt make it down but I really hope she’ll be able to book time off for the next one so that it can be a complete mother/daughters experience.  Even our little niece Becky got the hang of it and was knitting up a storm with the rest of us.  Dad hid out in the family room downstairs with Noah and we took over the main floor; The kitchen was full of food and the livingroom was full of yarn, pattern books and knitting needles.  It was great!
Of course, the highlight for me was when I jokingly showed off hairy legs.  This resulted in comments being hurled at me such as, “whoa, you can tell you’ve been single for a while!”, and “Berni!  Single and Lovin’ it eh??” and my favorite – “I’m gonna be sick”.
As my grin slowly faded I decided to re-evaluate my plans for tonight.  That said, I’m off to pour a bubble bath and take about 5 razors into the tub with me.  Have a good weekend all!
